engine change brava question

wonder if anyone can help? Thinking of getting a reconditioned engine , would this have to come with ecu or would i use my present one? if it comes with ecu i need the code box and anything else ??? cheers for suggestions p reg brava 1600 sx

as long as your not changing the engine size then the ecu will be fine that you have.
