My 97 cinq sportings now on its 4th Gearbox mount!! 
It had been replaced by the previous owner (got receipt). And when I bought the car about A YEAR AGO, it needed replacing again. So counting the original item, and the one I fitted last weekend. Its now on its Fourth!
Its Eating them!
The last one, was totally seperated and the engine was starting to take the exaust with it.
Could there be any reason, other than being rough with the clutch (which I dont think I am
) for this happening? Someone suggested fitting a brace for the engine, like their old racing mini?
Spec: Standard 1108 engine, lower springs, strut brace & Induction
I also changed the clutch 2 months ago.
One more thing:
Just after I got the car, I changed the other two mounts also, because I knew the car had been driven for a bit with a broken Gearbox mount....
