I have a Bravo 1.8 HLX that needs some attention, was taking to garage to get a new engine fitted but when i was moving to somewhere closer everything stopped. i couldnt restart, it beeped at me and didnt do anything, didnt even try to turn over.

I assume it is something to do with the immobiliser ontop of the problems im already having, other people have tried for this answer but dont seem to get any answers, is there anyway of bypassing it. Or how do's the immobiliser work i.e how do i disable it?

Cheers,

Sean

you can bypass the immobaliser but u better leave it to an autoelectrician

Cheers for the response, whats the normal way of disabling an immobilisor? take it to a dealership?

Heck No! Take it to an autoelectrican. Get the yellow pages out and ring round. Dont take it Fiat or a dealership.

Thank you :p Ive been reading up on it and some people have said disconnect negative on battery and leave for 15 mins, another is the red key but only have a blue one :(.
