Technical engiine fault jtd

hiya was in the stilo the other day after all the rain will the gf driving and engine fault flickers on for a second and goes back off,engine lost all power for a second then continued and been fine since.gf stated she had been going through some large puddles all day.is anything vunrable to getting wet?

not had the problem myself yet but many have, located in engine bay down below nearside headlight is an overboost valve that doesnt like getting wet and reduces power and engine lights till it dries out.some have relocated valve up onto side of battery tray.search overboost valve and relocate overboost valve.hope it dries out ok.
