Bit confused so thought I'd ask around. I've just got another Multi (115 JTD) and it's displaying an Eng. Ctrl. Faulty message. The glow plug light also keeps flashing for a while. I've read the other related posts and none I found of them mention the Eng Ctrl fault warning.

I've read the ecu with multicuscan and the only fault code it's giving me is a P0380 fault code which, rightly enough is the glow plugs. The fault comes back straight away after a reset. I've had three of the plugs apart from one that, sods law, it's seized and my local friendly garage reckon they need to take the head off to get it out safely. I'm assuming that it must be the dodgy one. The car runs fine and there are no obvious things wrong but the beep every time I start it is really starting to get on my wick.

My old 110JTD had the same glow plug issue but the Eng Ctrl error didn't happen. Did they change something with the 115 or am I missing something obvious????

No help I'm afraid. But my glow plug light stay's on for around 45seconds on start up. But have not yet had issue. Bought the car recently and has always done it???

I've got a nosejob and a glowplug failed, there was no eng. mgmt light.

I'm just wondering if the relay for the glowplugs is faulty, this might cause the P0380 error?
