Hi all I have a fiat ducato 2.3 automatic diesel 2021 across and the EML is on with the stop/start unavailable. I have a fault code of P24D1-92 which I think points to a faulty matter sensor. The DPF has had a clean recently (last week) and the soot level is at 91%. The differential pressure sensor is reading approx 0.1 mbar pressure. (Not sure what that means. Is that ok?) The differential pressure sensor is new and there is no air leaks and there is no limp mode and drives fine. What I'm asking is if you think its the matter sensor of something else.

At the moment I'm doubting the DPF specialist as we've had a couple other van which seem not to been done properly. I've been using a apollo d9 to do test and it shows 91% soot mass. The sensor is new. Also been told there is a code which indicates the matter sensor is at fault. What do you think?
P24D1-92 is the code we have.

From what I've seen on YouTube.
If you doubt the differential pressure sensor, disconnect and use a hand held manometer to check.
Also a good DPF appears to give ~5mbar at idle, ~40mbar at 3000rpm.
Look up O'Rilleys on YouTube.

Thanks for your help.
Thanks for the reply. I tried with a manometer and when I put it onto the larger pipe of the two on the differential sensor. I was getting just over 8 mbar at idle and 43 mbar at 3000 rpm. The differential pressure sensor would still show 0.1 mbar approx. See attached file. When I put pressure to the sensor it go up and holds and shows an increase on on the diagnostic screen. I'm going to try another differential pressure sensor. Also after a "so called " dpf clean it still showed 91% soot mass in the dpf and after running for approx 30mins it went up to 120% . I've also renewed the matter sensor. I'm hoping the new sensor will sort this. What do you think?

After cleaning possibly the DPF should be reset using Multiecuscan or somewhere software. Perhaps the @theonecan can help as he is more familiar with MES.
