Does anyone have any suggestions to help pass the MOT emissions?
I seem to have to constantly weld in a new catalytic converter every time it comes round to the MOT which isn't right as it's only a years use.
. As I have 3 Cinquecentos it's getting rather annoying.
I've done the usual emissions cleaner in the tank, drove it to an inch of its life before the test, changed filters and plugs, put the original throttle body back on (it has the 38mm of p75 and also punto 75 camshaft in) but still fails on the cat doing absolutely nothing every time.
I'm just wondering whether the 38mm throttle body is chucking extra fuel down the exhaust? The last time the issue was the MAP sensor.
Any help much appreciated before I look at scrapping them.
I use this Cinquecento for long distance mainly, hardly any town driving .
