Technical Embarrassing question

I feel ashamed to ask this but.......... Where's the earth strap on the mk1 1.6 brava?
Reason i'm asking is that we had the car back today and she runs pretty good (doesn't seem as much power there as before but at least it's running on all 4 cylinders lol) except when it's warm and you stop her. She refuses to restart until she's cold. Also the battery charge is down to the point where it can barely turn the engine over.
I thought this may be down to a bad earth strap connection.
Any help appreciated.

Sounds like a possible fix Custard but it's going to take a fairly long time to find out going at it like that, you know, either waiting for the car to conk out due to utterly flat battery or waiting for it to recharge.....Thanks for the idea though.
(Though i can always check to see if it'll start like that when warm.....always presuming i have enough charge to start it in the first place lol)

the earth strap in under the battery tray. iirc its connected from the gearbox to the chassis just below the battery tray. it will be that rusty thing handing on by a thread.
