my fiat ducato 2.8 stops for no reason no hazards nothing rac got me home 4 times now can anyone help or point me in the right area motorhome has been to 2 different garages who could find nothing wrong please help

What did the RAC do to get you going and what did they advise?
When you say "no hazards nothing" do you mean the hazard lights wouldn't work as in a total electrical failure? If so I would look at battery main connections, leads to fuse box etc.
 
hello in reply all the rac done is clean and tighten battery bolts but even they had not heard of it before the only other think say is when i turn on my lights in the evening driving along i lose a little power and have to speed up to get back up to power i am at a loss not been out in 8 months help help help thank you

What you are saying sounds like the generator/alternator is not supplying enough power to keep the engine running. If that is the case I am sure any competent garage should be able to test for it, failing that a local auto electrician.
A very basic test to see if the generator is working is at night turn the headlights on facing a wall and start the engine and rev it slightly, you should see the headlights come up brighter.
 
Hi. I suggest you carefully check the entire earth return cabling going back to the battery. This means undoing bolts , cleaning to bright metal and reassembling.
Treat all contacts with suspicion until proved to be innocent. This includes the lug connecting body/chassis to the earth cable.
