Hi folks,

I jump started my 2.5l bmw from my Scudo as the bmw battery was flat. Ever since I did this, when i turn the key to off and pull the key out of the ignition in the Scudo, the heater fan, and presumably other electrics stay on. I pulled the fuse on the heater to stop the fan but over night the healthy battery went flat as a pancake. When turning the key to off, all of the dash lights go out as they should however other parts of the eletrics stay on?? Can someone tell me what I have done???

Many many thanks in advance for your replies.

First stop should be to disconnect your battery for 5 minutes and then reconnect...to re boot your ecu if gremlins present.

Disconnect battery, eh? Are you sure you've got your radio code? What's that, yes - it's written down on a card in the paperwork with your handbook and stuff? Well, why not go and check you've got it BEFORE you disconnect, hm?

BTDTGTTS. Thrssssp!
