Hi, I recently got myself a pair of electric seats from a Ulysse at the breakers yard. I'm putting them in my Ducato. Does anyone know anything about the wiring. I just need to know which colour does what and I can rig something up from there.

are the switches built into the seat base?
if so you should only need 2 wires positive and ground
if you have more than this on the seat then you likely have things like airbags seat heaters etc and the last thing you want to do is put power on to the airbag wires

There's switches on the seats for forward motion and to adjust the back of the seat. There's a switch for the heaters too but not fussy about that . Just wondered if it was as simple as supplying them with a live and ground then using the switches. It's what colour does what I need to know.

Hi, as the pics show, as well as the plug on seat electrics I also cut the plug from the car off.
The seat plug is 1 - Red, 2 - Brown, 5 - Yellow, 6 - Black, 7 - Red
Car plug is 1 - Red, 2 - Green/yellow, 5 - Yellow, 6 - Yellow/green, 7 - smaller orange
All I want is the movement in the seat. I resume the heater is connected to the car temperature system or something so not fussy about connecting that up. I was just unsure if the seat needs anything else from the car electrics to work.
