Has anybody tried those 'ekotek widgets' yet? They fit on the vacuum tube running from the engine to the brake servo? Claim to increase air flow and improve braking response all for £40? If anybody has used them, let us know...

I think they are.... an

I'm not being nasty.... we all want better economy etc etc. But if they worked why arent they fitted as standard? some people say they work, some dont..

the general feeling is they are a 'placebo'... make you think you are saving money so you dont go quite so heavy with the right foot.

save your money, spend it on a full tank of petrol safe in the knowledge you havent butchered your car.
