It is a vacuum Solenoid actuator and there are about 5 of them. Turbo booster, and EGR I believe are controlled by these. It would seem unlikely they would prevent cold starting. Fuel cut off switch already mentioned sounds a likely contender....assume there is fuel coming through? Though you say cannot get it to fire using Easy start seems strange? I take it you are squirting down the big black plasic floppy pipe that comes from the air filter and tucks into the NS wing?
