Hi all,
Lately, EML light is on ONLY when idle or drop the gas pedal at 60kmh.
When driving, EML light is off.

Tested the car at the garage with Fiat Examiner, and only 1 code came out "EGR valve"

I've replaced 2 NEW EGR's and a used one.
EML light won't come off with any of them.
Tried to block the EGR with a plate, but then, EGR is always on.

Car won't turn off when driving but it does drop rpm when going into neutral gear to like 500 then gets normal to 900-1000rpm.

I've also replaced the connector and rewire it.
What could be the problem?

I've attached a video
it shows EML comes on, only when idle or releasing the gas pedal.

Everything is new.
Head is after rebuilt, tried with 2 manifolds, 2 egr valves, and replaced all sensors from another car just to test.

The only thing I haven't changed is the catalytic converter. it is 12 years old.
Could the catalytic converter mess the EGR reading?

Problem solved !!
By connecting to ECU with fake aliexpress Delphi DS150E scanner
Using the delphi software, and you can able to read codes from 1.6 GM ECU.

Problem was bad TPS along with EGR.
After EGR was replaced, only TPS showed error code.
Replaced it and no error light !

Glad you were able to diagnose the problem and fix it. Your scanner and software sounds interesting as I had resigned myself to being unable to read and diagnose any codes. All local auto-electricians have run a mile when I tell them I have a 1.6 Punto Cabrio.
