Normal aspiration not Turbo...?

An 03 Tempra?!?

Anyway...Usually white smoke means waters being burnt, meaning either the head gaskets gone, the head or possibly the block is cracked or if its a turbo model, the turbo cooling system leaking.

With the value of Tempras & Tipos being so low, its probably not worth the fix unless you already have the parts spare & your doing the work yourself.

If you really dont want to part with her, it might be worth getting a later crash damaged TD Fiat (I understand the engine was used till recently) & swapping the whole engine & gearbox over.

Good luck with it. (y)
