Egg Insurance

Well thought id recommend Egg for decent quotes,

Everywhere else wanted stupid premiums or a stupid monthlys with a lower premim........

My premium is around £1380 and after paying monthlys it costs me about £1520.

That is with:
Merc A170 Advantgarde SE '05
20 Y/O
0 NCB
Girlfriend as named driver (19 y/o) (£400 excess)
Mum as named driver (£0 excess)
Dad as named driver (£0 excess)
Best mate as named driver (19 y/o) (£400 excess)

I think its pretty damn good for what ive got and non of the named drivers adjusted the policy.

H and I had egg last year but my rewnewal was about £100 more than what i am paying now.

I didnt have any probs with them but you never do with anyone until you make a claim :chin:

i am currently paying £150 for the year with swiftcover.com

I got a quote with them the other week went down a few hundred quid when i stuck me dad on there

I put through a dummy quote with them. Am I right in saying that they do not offer the option of monthly payments? They are by far the cheapest insurance provider, especially for a young driver. If I add my girlfriend on there, it knocks about £300 off. I'm really looking at going with them as I got a quote of £1600, compared to all my other quotes of £2600+. Just wondering whether you can have the insurance on a monthly payment plan?

ive got egg insurance on the bravo..... much better then elephant i might add (y)

i hurried along picking my car up to a tuesday... and for that they needed the details through the post so they could tax the car on my behalf...

sure to there word they posted the docs special delivery 9am to the car people so they had them 1st thing tuesday morning (y)

ive been given a direct reprisentative there, and there based in leeds which is just down the road from me... they also through in free courtesy car to sweeten the deal :)
