Technical ecu/ stalling problem

hi i have a cinq 899cc sx model on l plate, and my problem is this, sometimes the car runs ok, and other times u dip the clutch and the car stalls, sometime the little red light with the spray comes on, which i asume is ecu issuses? ive had the car runnig and just gently tapped the ecu box and the car stalls straight away, its gettin rather annoying now so here i am hopeing all u guys can help me lol! any info wud be most helpfull!

have you checked to see if all the connections to and from the ECU are secure?? so tapping ECU stops the engine,hhmm could possibly be internal,very strange.

Could it be the chip has come loose? But first I'd look to see if there's any issue with the big multi pin connector.

Local garage had similar problem with 16F ecu, thumping it altered the misfiring.
Could not find anything loose inside, so replaced it with virginised breakers one, cured the problem.
