Technical ECU codes

Hi, I'm trying to make an ECU monitoring board (showing air/water temp, rpm, and other) but I need the codes to dialog with the ecu.
I know there are available the codes (example: send 10h code to the ECU to obtain the ECU ISO CODE), but I found only documentation about FIAT Coupè.
I need the Cinquecento Sporting ones.
May anybody help me, please?

Tom translated the ECU documentation. He should be able to give you a copy, and it should contain everything you need.

Keep me updated with this project, it is something i want - but don't have the time to attempt at the moment.

The original project was a digital instrumentation (sorry, I don't speek english well): I want give out the original RPM-meter and counter, and replace them with an LCD graphic display (where display also ECU monitoring) with a car computer embedded and controls on steering wheel.

So I presume you want to use a microcontroller to do this?

Its either that way...or the way the Coupe guys have done it...and the way (we) want to do it: use a PC with a TTL level converter on its serial port and talk to the ECU through that.

You could then get the PC to put the data on the LCD, as otherwise, it'd be lots of circuits...

i think having a standalone would be cool as well. I emailed the guy on fccuk that made one a few times, but he didnt reply to last one

I received documentation by GeX about 16F ECU and mine is 16F.ER (my ISO CODE is not present).
Anybody knows if it's the same use 16F and 16F.ER protocols?

its still a 16F.. 16F just refers to the first bit
