ebay- item insured got damaged get money back??

well i bought punto bonnet some time ago now, and still havent got a refund because i recieved it damaged, i keep emailing him and im getting no where, no replies, i keep phoning him getting no where either always turned off, what can i do? it was with parcel2go.com or what ever its called, i payed for insurance is there anyway i will be able to get my money back by my self? i phoned them and they said no the sender is the only one who can do that. i need my £100!!

what is that? i searched and found it but unsure? it says they have to be joined to it?

you start it off and they are sent an email to see if they want to settle it through square trade thing iirc

Surely the courier company would be at fault here, not the seller?
