The Thetford meet should have a semi-decent turn out 10 people RSVP-ed and 3 weeks left to go :) May have to change the location to somewhere with a slightly bigger car park :s
Ill ring the pub shortly and enquire about how many spaces they are likely to have for us and wether there is roadside parking or another Car park closeby we could use :)

Would anyone from Peterborough wanna convoy? LeighJet150 Rigby Rawb Loop

I'm busy that weekend i'm afraid. Can't make it (n)

Just had a look on Gmaps :)

Looks like the car park has about 30 spaces and there is another car park next door to it so space shouldnt be an issue

I think what ill do is ring up the Wednesday before the meet and book a table for how ever many people have RSVP'd to cover our backs :)

The carpark next to it is nothing to do with the pub iirc Tom. Not sure if its even open at the weekend as think its private (as in office carpark), but cannot fully remember.

I'll text my friend see if she still works there, as think she was assistant manager or something, so might get her to reserve us a decent table somewhere out of the way :)

Im up for a convoy as well, depends entirely on me finding a decent Fiat to buy though. I've gone to see 3 Pandas now :(

Theres a 1.9 M-Jet Sporting GP Carribean Orange in Bourne for just short of £5k, Dont know what your budjet is but its in decent condition :) 07 reg I think.. Ill ask the guy I know whos big into his Fiats, Alfas and Lancias if hes seen any decent Fiats about :)

Take the A134 north towards Mundford and there's a large Forestry Commission park on the right. Good for picnics. Not sure about the dogging

Doubt I'll make any of the meets, perhaps will be able to make more of an effort if I ever upgrade to something more interesting than my factory standard Panda :D

how far away is that long straight road through the Forrest? there are a few picnic/dogging spots in there

That the bit on the main A11 with the memorial statue thing  think it's about 10min away.

It don't matter what you drive, it's more the social aspect :)
