Earthing Problems?

I have just fitted a sub in my car and it all works fine apart from my alarm which ahs decided to stop working. The only thing i can think of is a bad earth? Where is the best place to earth it to?

But if you lift up the rear seats there are 2 big alan key type bolt things that stop the rear seats from going too far down. Scrape some paint off around their. The best place is the seatbelt bolts but they really are a pig to get to.
