Technical Earthing problemn

Hi I have a 2010 Ducato and if I use the n/s indicator the front sidelight flashes briefly anyone had this before and any idea where the earthing points are for the front lights

Check both rear light block connectors, had the same on my old 57 plate van, the earth terminal shorted out, open the block and clean up the terminal, and close it back together (heat from resistance opens the terminal) also clean up the pin on the bulb holder,
Both sides.

Failing that you need to check all the front wiring connectors as water ingress is also common behind headlight causing corrosion and shorts

Hi thanks for that I've done the drivers side already would a dodgy Earth on the back affect the front

It did on my 57 plate, also seen a few other couriers having same and it was the same issue, I do believe they modified the wiring looms a later models, definitely on the 2011 onwards (euro 5) as I have one now. Not a long job to check, just get to and remove plug off rear lights and one of the end terminals is showing black/burnt marks there's your issue, open up, clean out, close the terminal back together (to get a better connection with its male pin on bulb holder)(clean that too)
If not
Then it's pull the headlights out and find a similar issue on the wiring at the front

Hi. The front headlight ok but rear bulb holder rusted up is there a pattern part available or is it a trip to the fiat dealers
