Hi everybody,

As I did not pay attention and posted my introduction thread in the Punto section (I know..) I will introduce again. I am Ivo and currently I live in Bangor (y)

Enough with the boring part. I just wanted to start a thread and show off my panda. The other one is at home in the Netherlands, a 1991 Sergio Tacchini.

I do have a question though. Since the backing light is on the left side in the UK rather than on the right side, I want to fit a left rearlight unit.
Where can I find one of them? Anybody know any scrapyards near Bangor? I only saw a decent pair on Ebay, but they say MK1. It looks like mk2 but I cannot tell the difference.

Cheers,
Ivo

Greetings Ivo,

Welcome to the forum, and to the best part of it of course! :D

I can't help with a breakers yard but mk2 panda tail lights are fairly easy to find so I am sure someone will be able to help. You're never crazy distances from a breakers yard really.

Also love those wheels; what are they?

Thank you all for the nice reactions.

Those wheels are from the Seat Marbella. I think they are from some sprint model. I have little knowledge about Marbella models, so I won't know for sure.
They are however.. difficult. Marbella's have the rear shocks vertical and Fiat Panda's have them slightly on an angle. If you have aftermarket shocks they will scrape the inside of these rims when moving more than 1 person. Original shocks are more rounded and will go fairly okay. I am cheap and use aftermarket shocks and trimmed the rims down so the shocks won't hit them :)

Thanks for the offer on the rear light. I have placed a bid on an set on Ebay. But I will probably be outbid in the last minute or so..as I have
things to do on daytime.
Will let it know if I am supplied or not. However an extra pair might come in handy. If there is interest I might let my friends bring a 'main land' rear light.
I will keep Wrexham in mind, might I have a day off and want to browse for parts.

About the ST. The one on the photo is the 1992 Skyline. Which I am told is only supplied in the Netherlands in this set-up. The ST is dark blue, green interior. ST's in the Netherlands were available in blue, gray and black (the outside color that is).

Just needed to post a picture of the panda before I left and most importantly when it had a proper cleaning!

Did think it was a bit suspect, especially as that green interior can normally be seen from a mile away. In the UK ST's were available in dark blue and grey, don't think we ever got them in black.

Its a twin sunnies model too, that's a very prestige model (y)

To be honest, I've never seen a black ST. Few of them in blue and one in grey. The interior is definitely something you will notice :D

The Skyline model was also sold in the UK? They have become quite rare in the Netherlands as well. A shame actually because the twin sunroofs are great. By the way, never seen a single sun roof... only if they were made from plastic.

This week I did some changes to the panda. Made it more UK compatible (y). Still in need for a passenger side rear light. Posted a wanted message in the advertisement part.

The troubles Fiat went true in designing all those model names :p. The panda from the link looks good. Wished mine was so shiny.

Just a photo from the back of my panda. Hopefully that view will be more UK'ish pretty soon. I.e. the left lamp unit containing a white reversing light.
