Technical Duologic Gear Engage

Hey Guys
Hot here this year as we all know and on a couple of very hot days the car has not engaged gear - any gear.. Restart several times solved the issue. This has only happened twice but as we all know it could be a precursor for things to come. Anyone with experience of same? thx

Just to clarify this occurred on startup - once the gear was located driving was without issue...

I think first thing to check is battery voltage/state of charge, alternator charging voltage and maybe the ground line. Dualogic is sensible to voltage inconsistency and heat amplifies electrical gremlins.
