Technical Ducato strange noise

I have recently replaced my alternator and am getting this noise that you can hear at the start of the video.
It happens when I first start the engine and then disappears but comes back again a minute later while the engine is ticking over.

There are more than one noises that shouldn't be there.
Did you put a new belt after replacing the alternator?

I find it quite hard to disentangle the various noises, and the idle speed seems a little bit variable - they are normally rock steady. Did you mean the brief chirrup/squeak at one point ? That might be a slipping belt.

I use a few feet of garden hose as a listening tube to pinpoint noise sources.

It's usual practice to replace the belt after taking it off as they are relatively cheap. If its in good condition it's acceptable to re-use it, but it's supposed to go back on with drive in the same direction as before to avoid accelerated wear.

What state was the tensioner in ?

I think he means the 'peacock sound' we can hear at some point, as my wife described it after listening the video in here. That does sound like a belt slip.

I've added another couple of videos. the short video is after I've turned engine off.
I didn't change the belt as it wasn't long ago it was changed.

Ah..... it is an electric motor trying to operate either the turbo boost control or the throttle plate . It is very very unhealthy and requires fixing.
