I have a Fiat Ducato year 2018. I got an error code "P250A-12 - Engine oil level sensor - Short circuit to +V" read whit MES but I can not find any connection to any control module.

My control modules are:
Marelli 9DF CF6/EOBD Diesel Injektion (2.3)
Body computer Marelli (290)
Bosch ABS 9 ESP
TRW AIRBAG MY14
Intrument Panel Marelli
Service Interval Reset

I can't find any parameter that includes "Oil level sensor". Does anyone know where I should look? Could it be that MES has missed this parameter?
I've seen this parameter when I've been looking around mes for other vehicles.

I thank you in advance from Sweden

Niether can I find any parameter that includes "Oil level sensor". Does anyone know where I should look? NO Could it be that MES has missed this parameter? probably. I cant find any refference to it in x250 modules either or the dashboard module.
Physicaly the oil level sensor is tucked out of the way not easy to get at . At rear of engine by alternator. Others more versed in e-learn will come up with better info.

Hej,

In the post #272 linked below, there is an attached service e bulletin from Fiat. A small part of it (on page 3-4) is about the oil level sensor and perhaps some of this might be of some help, even if it concerns another fault code than yours (P250A-38)

Thank you so much for the information. I cleared fault codes and it didn't come back for a while. Now it's back and it seems the error code comes on when I'm not using the car. This may be due to the solar panel on the roof. The voltage may become too high when left in the sun. I got this error code at the same time "P0657-17 - Congruence of main relay battery voltage upstream/downstream - Voltage too high"

You had better check that solar panel setup you have. If the output is not regulated correctly then you are risking a significant amount of electronics, let alone the battery due to overvoltage.
