Hi All,

Recently purchased a ducato bessacarr motorhome, and i have a real cab side to side wobble (not through steering wheel) at around 40 mph.

The wobble starts when approaching 40mph in 3rd gear and also when accelerating through 40mp in 4th. It eventually disappears at about 45 to 50ish.

Any ideas what the issue may be?

Cheers all

This was our thinking..... Can find one side (longer one) but struggling to find stock of the shorter side. Any suggestions on where to find new ones?

Yes recently had new tyres all balanced etc...

Its often the joints that cause the 'pulsing'
so cheaper and easier to replace those on your existing shaft

Does ePER Give you part number info?

You don't say which model of Ducato your 'van is based on, but Coastal Motorhomes are one of the first places to check for replacements.

They have a good selection of driveshafts covering most models:

...and, if you do a further search, joints as well.
Sorry.....it's the 2.8 1999. They have only one side it seems, same as gsf car parts.

Yes sounds like a drives shaft issue inner joints not outer.
