We have a 2013 Auto trail based on Fiat chassis which has developed a lighting problem. The o/s headlight, both high and dipped beam, also the o/s front indicator light have stopped working any possible solutions will be greatly appreciated.
The x250 is known for earthing problems. One of the earth points is just behind / below the left hand side headlight. As far as I remember, the headlight earth is also somewhere there...
To clean and check everything, it'd be good to disconnect the battery. But beware, there's a special procedure on disconnecting the battery. It is described in the owner's manual. Short circuits may lead to the airbag module failure, which is not a cheap thing to repair / replace.
