I have a friends 2011 ducato 2.3jtd 130, 250 motorhome that I have just replaced the fuel filter on and after the first start it ran ok but the filter leaked at the screw top so I tightened it more and cured the leak but when I started the van again it won't rev above 3,000 rpm. :cry: I have multiecuscan version3.5 registered and can connect to the ecu ok but no dtc's showing
Any help will be much appreciated

That is not limp mode. Search this forum for threads about the UFI filter housing and issues with replacement filter cartridges.
 
Yes agree limp mode is when you start up your X250 and it will not accelerate generally caused by the dreaded EGR valve sticking which means a whole new assembly.
