ducato gear slection

:bang: the problem I have is that 1 to 4 gears will slect fine untill I go to 5th when going down box 4 and 5 fine but cannot get 1 and 2 untill I lift selector and go across towards R then back to 1 an 2 also Reverse is getting harder and harder to select.

please has any body out the know the remedy.

It would be helpful if you could tell us which model Ducato you have.
If it was the Talbot Express/Fiat Ducato model then these people did a gear linkage repair kit.
