Technical Ducato 244 2.8 JTD Flywheel

Hi Guys,

I'm just wondering if the 2.8JTD's have a Dual Mass Flywheel?

If yes, I think mine may need replacing soon!

Model Year etc are in my signature below.

Flywheel is solid and the only problem i've seen with them was the ring gear damaged what are your symptoms

what are your symptoms

Bad vibration at lower revs and a shunt when switching off or taking up drive quickly.

All engine mounts seem secure, as all have been replaced once or twice over the years..

Have you checked for fault codes? Does the vibration change with the clutch depressed? Any noise from the main bearings?

No MIL lit, but haven't got a reader for other codes

Yes, shunt doesn't occur on switch off with clutch down

Any noise from the main bearings?

Do you mean engine?
