So my X250 Ducato suffered a hole in the top rubber section due to being installed too close to the lambda sensor. Bee-cool can repair the pipe, my question is does it come out easy enough?I don't want to get half way through the task and find one of the retaining clips needs some fancy special tool to release it.

Thanks for any advice offered.

As many others seem to be. Lots saying about the issue, not seen a single fix yet.

How did you get on?

edit: Oh - it may well be you I replied to on MHF too!

FYI I got a new pipe from Coastal Motorhomes for £157 delivered, Bee cool gave a rough quote without seeing the pipe "If there is such a thing as an average, then £140-220 & Vat." - plus postage getting it there - so a new pipe from Fiat is far cheaper (and comes with a new pressure sensor)
You need a £2 clip too 7719199 which goes near the filling valves to hold the bottom pipe to the top (the cause of the droop and failure). This was mentioned in a 2018 recall for a turbo intercooler pipe (go figure) but was no present on my 2020 van.

Pipes seem to vary, ebay showed many variants, mine was https://coastalmotorhomes.co.uk/fit...con-hose-pipe-2-3jtd-oe-14-on-1393951080.html and got from them via ebay (they regularly appear with the generic ebay 10 or 20% off - I got 10% when I bought)

As for fitting, will be doing soon....
