Hi I have a question. I have a Fiat Ducato 2.8 TDI 1999 years. In winter, the engine started without any problems even without preheating. The car then three months worth, and now the cold can not nastartovat.Akumulátor revolves long time, but still nothing. If you connect it via jumper cables to another vehicle after a while starts. Warm starts, but only if I depress the accelerator pedal.

There is a cold advance device on the pump that advances the timing when cold. Check that it is operating.

Other thoughts:
Did you inspect the filter. The diesel could have precipitated wax during the 3 cold month blocking the strainer / filter.

Leaking return lines, filter o rings might be allowing air into the system making it hard to start after standing.
