How do you read codes from ABS?

Have OBD connector under steering wheel. Multiecuscan+VAGCom cable can read faults from Engine ECU. Delphi Autocom can also read engine codes. But not ABS or Airbag.


What does this mean? Adapter or PIN1

Ok, so you need adapters. Ordered the green one, will update once i get it.

Quick and dirty method is cut the kline pin and and solder wire to abs pin (in think its pin 1 in the 244 model.

Last time I had an abs fault on 244 it was corrosion at the bottom of the fuse box took a frikken age to find.

I bought a switchable VAGcom cable which saves you having 3 separate cables.

Then you just switch it for reading the ABS ecu or the ECU you wish.

It works.

I can read the the ABS, engine ECU and auto gearbox ECU.

Note. You also need the fully paid version of MES ...if that is what you are using.
