I had some problems with water ingress with my Ducato 56reg, 2.2 (which is Ford Transit engine)
Dealer was useful as my old shoes. No help at all.
After years of new wiper arms, new injectors, seals and idiotc service from Fiat I have taken time to solve a mystery.
Fiat UK is acting ignorant to all.
You will not be able to order parts for your Ducato because it does not exists. You will need to use any new reg. plate, 2.2 100 Multijet, number of the dealers parking lot to order parts.
Parts needed (look at part numbers from pictures)
It is a straight forward modification and you should end up with 2 extra bolts and metal plate that secures small coolant return pipe.
I have enclosed pics as well.
Note:
You will need to remove a rubber grommet (gasket) and metal flange from the right side of the cover due to short length of threaded rod where you will secure it.
Use large washer on top and 1/2" tap washer below to separate plastic cover body from metal base (I assume it fro heat as much as rattle)
I have used top of the small bottle to plug the coolant pipe to minimize coolant leak.
I was happy with the results.
Prior to that I have cleaned and siliconed the windscreen scuttle to minimize water ingress as well.
Fiat still did not address scuttle design fault. Seen brand new vans 2012 with a same problem. On the plus side they have engine cover but water is still pissing thru scuttle.
FYI You may need 12mm hose clips if you are unable to fit old ones.
Hope this is helpfull.
