Technical Ducati stop start fault

Hi, Newbie here looking for advice.
I've got a 2021 roller team mobile home on the Ducato chassis...the engine warning light has come on ( only done 10,000 miles) with a warming that stop/start is not available?....stop/start button is illuminated? Anyone got any ideas is it going to be just a fuse blown ??

I have seen a problem like this discussed recently on a motorhome forum.

The discussion thread suggests there is a known problem with a batch of faulty "Exhaust gas sensors" which are failing on vehicles of a similar age to yours. The posts on the forum suggest a recall exists & you can check to see if your VIN is subject to the recall on the fiatcamper.com website

I had exactly the same symptoms on my 2021 2.3 Ducato.
It began when I drove through a deep puddle at speed
After about a week, when the weather dried up, it was alright again.
