Ducato (Gen 3) Ducati base CI Carioca

Hi all - another newbie! Looking for info on my 2L Ducato 15 LWB TD Carioca.
Trying to find out if it has an engine immobiliser. Nothing in handbook. Does not operate on remote locking and unlocking - manual key entry. Where would I find out if an immobiliser is fitted? Insurers say that a 2003 plate should have one fitted. Grateful for any info.

Hi, and welcome,
UK specs will be quite different to "other regions",
so you may find the Immob isn't a factory fit,

the folks in the ducato section are friendly + knopwledgable,
but a Carioca owner forum - or such - may have the specific answers you need,

Welcome to the forum.

If the keys have a small triangle with some semi-circles and the number 2 on the blade, then you have a CODE2 immobiliser.
