Might be a bit of a simpleton here, but thought I'd ask.
I have a '16 595 Competitzione with the face-lift, the day time running lights have the white half ovals and a normal halogen lamp in the middle.
I keep getting a "check DRL" message on the dash but when I start the car with the headlights on, the DRL message does not come up? What's strange is when my headlights are on, both the white ovals on drivers and passenger are on but the halogen lamps are not, yet when I switch my headlights off, my drivers side white oval and halogen lamp doesn't come on but the passengers side both oval and halogen lamp does come on?
Is it a case of just changing the halogen bulb in the drivers side DRL housing? Or does it sound like more of an electrical issue.
