As you can see this my door pillar. What's behind the arrowed black plastic cover. Is it access to some kind of lever to release the adjacent door wiring loom connection plug? Google isn't being my friend on this ...

I think you will need to access through panel by accelerator pedal. Look at this photo for a clue.
