General Driver wing mirror hanging off

Hi, does anyone have a guide to how a 2016 500x wing mirror is attached? It's the basic model so not one where the wing mirror turns in automatically.


Picked up car last week - and five days later someone thought it would be funny to pull the drivers wing mirror off.


All still attached (because of the electric cable) and electrics for indicator light working fine.


If there is no guide for re-attaching, can anyone give an estimate on cost for repair?

No - the dealership said there was a but missing, but couldn't tell me which but. £280 to replace and fit.
