Drive Cycle

Good evening. I have to admit I know nothing about cars but I do love my Fiat 500 it's nothing fancy just the POP. I still have it or at least I have up until today.

I went to get my first emissions test today and it failed due to OBD readiness not working. On June 6th of this year I had a problem with my battery and ended up having to purchase a new battery. What I'm being told is that this clear the information from my computer and I have to restart a drive cycle. So far that makes sense except for the fact that I drive my car about 60 miles a day of a combination of mostly Highway and a little Street driving going back and forth to work. It seems like since today is the 25th that the drive cycle would have completed. Does anyone have any feedback about the drive cycle time for a FIAT.

Do I take it you are in the US..
and the cars stored memory is scanned for emissions info??
