so....... im not going to keep my car for too long im gettin a punto sporting in 2 yrs.

so why you spending so much money on a car you will never drive

you either get given too much money, or you have a very, very big paper round

also

a punto sporting and i guess you'll be 17 in 2 years???

insurance will be very high price

infact i kno that the majority of insurers wont insure first time drivers on cars with the titles

GT GTI SPORTING GSI TURBO etc...... well thats wat happened to me

 when I was your age I was buying mp3 players, phones, computers...not parts for a car that will have probably rusted away before I turn 17!
Ha ha... yeah, 1990 seems like yesterday, really. Yet our friend has the distinction of his first car being younger than he is! Mine was 'born' six years before me.

What was I doing when I was 14 in '94... umm, well, spending money on computers... my first car was three years away... and since then I have owned 14 cars.

The FIAT Uno is not a chainsaw, so there is no need to rev the engine when standing still. Just wait till you have it loaded up with your friends (illegally of course) and then see how well it goes! :) More to the point, see how far you can go on 5 litres of petrol (hint: you won't get anywhere by revving the engine while standing still!)

Seriously, drilling holes in the airbox won't make it any better - that might be the carburettored-Tipo that you're thinking of?

Cheers,
-Alex

PS not sure if this message was to pghstochaj or myfiatunoLHDizdabest...
incidentally, isn't that going to be novel? Learning to drive in a LHD car?! I think most of us treat that as a challenge for the seasoned enthusiast (I drove a LHD FIAT Dino Coupe once...)
