my problem is that my car seems to drift when taking corners at a higher speed. it happens mostly on the motorway when doing 80 or above, the car seems to drift, not a slide by the way, then lurch rather more violently when you try to correct it, the lurch is the opposite way then the same way as you are steering, and when doing 90, its rather scary. have thought it may just be the tyres as they are about due for a change, but this has been happening for quite a while now.

any suggestions please.

not expensive. However these are pattern parts and are not as good as fiat's (but less than half the price) I'd replace the wishbones every two years at the latest, I've had a pair shafted after twelve months/7K miles  They really take a hammering on the coop.

Fitting wise, no more than about two hours labour.

ah, ive had the car nearly 3 years now, but not done solid mileage, only about 15k in that time, dont have a clue when they were last done though as it was bought from a simpleton in the far north of scotland!

is it dangerous to drive with this problem, as it was doing it quite violenlty on my drive to yorkshire last night! got quite hairy at times!!!

Drifting, huh, but that's how it goes,
To learn oversteer,
without soiling your clothes

(sung to that song sung by frank sinatra at the start of the osbournes)

just made that up now. Good eh?

anyway, yeah buy some new wishbones.
