Sadly blew up gearbox :( mananged to drive home 1/2 mile in 3rd and 4th but 2nd selected but not there and 1st not able to select... when car stoped put in neutral and now gear selecter locked in neutral and wont really move around the box.. please contact if you can help in anyway :)

or is there anywhere that can rebuild or repair it in uk any advice greatly appreciated
 
You could try Dean at Small Car Services (https://www.smallcarservices.co.uk/index.php/services/)

I can not guarantee that Dean can help but he may be able to provide additional leads.

He certainly has the offical Coupe Workshop Manuals (all updated etc.) as I gave him all my hardcopy manuals back in 2022! He also has/did have elctronic versions and also access to Fiat UK resources. He also is expererience in some Fiat gearbox rebuilds.

A lot depends on what you have actually done/damaged in your gearbox and that will require a strip down and inspection.

From what you are describing it looks/sounds like a selecter shaft issue. That could be the cars gear link controls (external to gearbox) or internslly to the gearbox.

As for UK Fiat resources then sadly if the Fiat is over 10 years old then support may be very limited if not out of this Universe :)

Hi mate, it might be worth contacting ant at Autosportivo Bedford, he seems to have loads of of coupe spare’s, or could give you advice 👍🏻

Many thanks for your reply and help :) when it blew i was in top end of 2nd boost and could hear metal rattling around untill put int to 3rd and 4th when at a junction managed to pull away in 3rd and soon got home allowed to cool and now just sits all sad :/ I will cetainly contact Dean thanks for the contact I'll send an update if I get any luck :D

Amazing Thanks i will give in a call probably monday and post any news i get.. meanwhile many thanks for the reply and contact details nice to have a bit of hope :) fingers crossed!
