Ok well i found the one on the rad its at the bottom towards drivers side.... but i cant find the one behind the engine.... i followed the pipes that come off the thermo two pipes went to the back of the engine both hand kinks in they lead sort of into the car which i assume is the heater but there was not a bleed valve on them.....
Has anyone got a haynes they could check for me...please

karl,..just checked haynes it does not state anything for the mk2..
all its says for all vehicles is open the bleed screws on the rad and heater hose.

@ Big-al, i went underneath the car pal followed both pipes back from thermo to heater and i cant find this screw.... im at a loss pal..... what i have done so far is open valve on rad and just continued to pour water in well (with heater on) all the pink coolant has run of and i have put 15ltrs through it.... do you think that will be enough to run that CarGo Seal Up through......

i have never used the seal stuff,but you have put plenty of water through it..my 1.4 was a swine to bleed the air out off,i used to put it up on one ramp so the expansion tank was the highest point and just do it that way..
