the front doors on my ducato 58plate 160 I get a draft from the inside door handles and if its a cold day your leg is freezing going to Scotland the other week I had to put my coat on my leg is this a common fault or just on mine
the only vent in the door is at the back edge
can any one help out

I haven't check that but the 2 doors are the same

Are the doors sitting flush with the front wings, they have not been opened in the wind and been damaged have they ??
John

Check the rubber seals, the one that runs up the A post up over the door can come adrift or slide down leaving a gap up at the top rear, also aperture seal on body make sure not perished/ripped or any gaps

Hi this is a common complaint I've read of it on several motorhome forums. Check in under the van below the door pillar behind the sill I think I remember reading that a large hole there is the cause there is a Fiat part to fix over this hole but maybe you can try just blocking it with sponge or similar \hope this helps but some time since I read about it

Ok I will take a look all the door seals are fine
But the draft is from the inside door handle

On mine there's always (on 3 x250's) been slight cool air around the door, more noticeable around the qtr glass, but sense something all around, but never noticed it from handle, that's why I can only think seals as its getting in from outside, I don't know if there is or should be a membrane inbetween door and card, but between, hang on, has the mirror been changed? It's it sat right and I'm not 100% as its a while since changing but there should be a foam membrane between mirror and door, the holes for mirror mounts and wires are close to handle?

the motorhome forums say its the vents on the rear of the door tape them up and the holes under the sill
