Technical Door stuck on 115 elx - Help please!

Hi all - need your help AGAIN! The passenger door handle on my 2000 1.8 115 elx was not returning to the closed position and so door didn't close until handle was pushed back in manually. Central locking worked and all ok. So. i gave the lock and the surround of the handle a good dose of WD40. Handle still won't return to closed position and now door won't open at all from either outside or inside. Push button will not come all the way up either. Can't take interior trim off to get to the handle and lock mechanism as i need door to open to get to all the screws. Any ideas?:bang:

My passengers door handle tends to stick open now n then too , iv done the wd40 and spray grease bit and it 'seemed' to be a bit better ,id be interested to know how you get it resolved - sorry i cant be of any help ,wish ya luck.
