Door strips

Hi ive just took the strips off my sides and im left with black sticky glue it does not come off ne ideas how to get it off i got 1 side off with chewin gum remover but i scrubbed to hard and ive now got a scratch down the side where it has actually took the paint on off how can sort the scratch out and remove the sticky ****

Autoglym Intensive Tar Remover worked a treat on mine

I have some Servisol Label Remover 130 at work oonly used it for small patches thou'. Works OK if you leave it for a while. Smells just like tar and bug remover.
