On my high usage 3yr old ducato, the keys seem to wear out and get thin. this prevents the door locks operating smoothly and the ignition has to be played with too.
Has anyone else had this problem? and more importantly how do you change the lock barrels as I have a new set of these ready for fitting to the vehicle?
The dealer can order me some new keys but says these need matching into the immobiliser of the vehicle? Why as my key fob is not a central locking type, just one that locks all doors when inserted and turned.
