Door Help Please???

I was wondering how easy would it be to change a door on a Bravo, and what tools I will need? (found one in scrappy) As I found a 12" long dent, and about 1cm deep, when I woke up this morning. Got a qoute on fixing it but adds up to £230.

the door is pretty easy to change,

unplug the wires by turning the plug anticlockwise, disconnect the check strap from the pillar by driving out the pin (helps to have a hammer and a punch for doing that but at a pinch a nail will do). Then just unscrew the hinges (if possible have a mate hold the door while you do this).

Then do the reverse to re-fit.

i've done removal and refitting in about half an hour.

yup its an easy task for this one ive had to replace 2 on the passenger side of my brava but best bet is to get someone to help hold the door for you

the main fiddly stuff comes when you take the interior door card off to change the locks.

wWhy they need 3 different types (and it seems like 30 of each) of bolt/screw to hold what is only a piece of plastic trim to your door I don't know

Compared to that the actual removal of the door is a piece of p*ss

They need all those to stop it rattling. You know you'd be complaining of the "typical bl00dy FIAT" rattles fi they didn't do it.

screw the locks and use the opertuinity to remove them!
